baby poop

I love being a Cowboy.
Cowboys ain't easy to love and they're harder to hold. They'd rather give you a song than diamonds or gold. Lonestar belt buckles and old faded levies, And each night begins a new day.If you don't understand me, an' I don't die young, I'll prob'ly just ride away.
Cowboys like smokey old pool rooms and clear mountain mornings, little warm puppies and children and girls of the night. Them that don't know me won't like me and them that do, sometimes won't know how to take me. I ain't wrong, I'm just
different but my pride won't let me, do things to make you think I'm right.
However, the best part by far, of being a cowboy, is the big and manly feasts that that we rise to every morning.
Todays breakfast included eggs. Standard. We first sautéed (thats french for panfried) onions, jalopenos (thats spanish for spicy green peppers), and sweet
potatoes. We then put some local eggs into the mix with a can of local beans, F.McClintock. After the eggs cooked a bit, sunny side up, in a bed of goodies we then turned on the broiler, sprinkled some sharp cheddar goodness and shoved that thing deep into the oven. Once the cheese was browning and the beans were bubbling we sauced it up with some hella hot hella bomb Valentina's black label.
A breakfast of this sort is just what you need before a long day of doing man shit, and roping things, and shooting guns, and drinking beer from a can, and spitting, and cussing.

European Smashed Biscuits with Nam Nam Sauce

Well, today we decided to mix it up. We have been on an egg scramble bender for quite some time now. It's never easy to kick a bender, good or bad. Like Dr. Dre says, "Never come down". With this wisdom from a doctor, we figured that we should just change the dish, not the eggs. On this date, March 26, in 1871 another Commune was proclaimed in Le Creusot durning the French revolution. That seems to be a good enough reason as any to celebrate. So to honor the french revolution we decided to make one of our all time favorites..... French Toast! Dispite the fact that they have never visited the moon, and America is far more superior, France is still a country the needs to be honored. I mean you can't be #1 if it isn't for a #2.

Moroccan Land Feast

There comes a time in every great breakfast makers life when the thought of exasperating his creative culinary juices in the early hours of the morning sound less than appetizing. This may look bad, or even pathetic, being our second day of posting and all, but I assure you eager reader that the many months leading up to the creation of this blog, we were going strong. Perhaps much too strong. So strong in fact that we had to seek out a local egg hookup supplier because the amount of eggs we were buying on a weekly bases was not only hurting our wallets, but exhausting the GEed factory farmed chickens west of the Mississippi. Perhaps this was our subconscious reasoning for why today we chose such a simple, yet hearty meal to start our pathetically awesome day out with. Or maybe because we weren't hungover and craving something to soak up all that alcohol. Whatever the correct reasoning is, the breakfast turned out great.
The main entree being steel cut oats intermingling with walnuts, raisins, prunes, and three chocolate chips, toped off with a splash of milk. Accompanying this dish was a side of tamales, both chicken and pork, purchased yesterday at the new Mexican Bakery on the corner of 13th and Farroll. $1.00 out the door for these freshly made bad boys. Obviously these tamales were soaked in a bath of Valentina's hot sauce (black label), and with 3 cups of coffee to wash it all down, the simple mans breakfast wasn't so bad after all...

Eiffel Tower Sunrise

Today is the first installment of Peter and Mason's documentation of the wonderful, luscious breakfasts that we create on a cosmic level. We both treat breakfast like we treat our coffee and women; with the utmost respect. When two culinary masterminds meet, who share the same love for savory and sweet, nasty things happen in the kitchen. We thought we would share and inspire the world with our creative endeavors. These breakfasts are not only a luxury , but as well as a necessity for our bodies to recover from wild nights, dancing, and owning the world.

After three days of heavy rain storms, it is always a nice feeling to wake up to some sunshine. A day of this sort calls for nothing less than a breakfast rich in complex carbohydrates, dietary fiber, beta carotene (a vitamin A equivalent nutrient), vitamin C, and vitamin B6. That is why we chose sweet potatoes as our main ingredient.
The trick to an awesome complex breakfast is a plethora of ingredients pack in flavo
r and nutrients. Interestingly enough, Sweet potatoes are the same color of the glorious sun that has broken through the rainy sky. Coincidence? I think not! We thought why not take a crazy chance (Hillary Du
ff reference).

A meal of solely sweet potatoes would be like a bike without tires, a bird
without wings, a child without laughter, a rose without a heavily sent, life without death, night without day, coffee without a taking a fat poop, so we went to our go to staple item... eggs!

Some ingredients used include: curry powder, asparagus, jalopenos, onions, butter, milk, avocado, lemon pepper, hot sauce, and much more hot sauce. Resulting in an awesome final product
with soft slices of bread on the side.

Drink of the morning: Coffee(Fair Trade Bitch.)
